Deliverable #10

Deliverable #10 project manager: Emett Koller

Quality Management Plan:

LEMM Solutions agreed to complete an e-commerce site for Worldwide Sports with the expectations of a high quality system. This system has to meet the needs and requirements of both the sponsor and the customers accessing the site. In order to meet these requirements, LEMM Solutions has kept a strict eye on making sure the deliverables match up with the MOV. In order to reach maximum quality each member of our project team will be equally responsible for the quality of work completed throughout the project.

Quality Metrics:

Each of the below metrics for our project make sure that overall quality is high in all three aspects of the project.

Category
Metrics
Description
Product
1) # of problems found by the client

2) A customer satisfaction rating
1) This is the number of problems with the site found by users. This can be during testing/training as well as after project completion.
2) On a scale from 1(poor) to 10(excellent) customers will be able to rate the site which gives good feedback to Worldwide Sports.
Process
1) # of bugs in the code

2) # of GUI changes
1) The faster we can find our own bugs in the code of the system, the less expensive and closer to schedule the project will stay.
2) If we can keep close to an original plan, the less time we take changing the looks of the system.
Project
1) ROI, payback period, and budget

2) Deliverable schedule
1) During the financial reports, we were able to assess the costs/benefits of the project to ensure it was worthwhile before WSOS was even started.
2) When the deliverables can be presented on time to the sponsor with quick sign-off time, more time can be spent on project completion rather than approval.

Verification Activities (Process related activities (Reviews)):

The following are activities that will be in place in order for our project team to maintain required quality:

1) Throughout the project, once each milestone/deliverable is completed, it will be compared to the original MOV and list of requirements by Worldwide Sports and our project team to make sure each deliverable is done correctly. This will ensure both internal and external approval of each deliverable prior to further project completion.

Validation Activities (Product oriented activities (Testing)):

Below are several activities that will be done to ensure our product and deliverables are in acceptable quality for our client (Worldwide Sports):

1) The most important part of validation will be the sponsor sign off of each completed deliverable. When/if they are approved by Worldwide Sports they will be doing their part to make sure each required function is properly included. This will boost overall quality.

2) We have a testing phase where the system will be trained/tested on the new system. They will be trained how to operate the system from a customer stand point as well as how to implement any required maintenance the system might require after the covered maintenance period by LEMM Solutions.
